Lovely 10” convex fusee drop dial wall antique clock. Line fusee, 8 day movement with thick, shaped, shouldered plates and knopped pillars. Original dial paint and signature- ‘Wm Strange, Kingston’ (listed 1828-51). Blued steel moon hands, locked cast bezel & convex glass. Well proportioned mahogany case, with slim surround & unusual side & locked bottom doors. Flame veneers set off by lovely brass inlays.
