FRAMED By Savage Fine Art ( Founded 1902 ) within a double gilt oval mount and expensive antique gilt frame with moulded plaster flowers on the corners.Fully glazed and sealed in excellent condition.
LETTER Attached Verso Reads:
A landscape, genre and portrait painter in oil and watercolour.
He had an extensive practice as a drawing master in Bristol, teaching at the Clergy Daughters School, Clifton College and elsewhere.
He travelled extensively and provided illustrations for the Illustrated London News and other publications.
His work can sometimes resemble that of P. de Wint.
