This is a super pair of watercolour paintings of the Thames. One is of the Houses of Parliament and the other is a stretch of Thames I haven’t fully identified, but think is around the Westminster area.

Both paintings are watercolour on paper and both are signed to the bottom left with what appears to be the name A D Young. I have not been able to confirm who the artist is, though it may be A Denoon Young, though I don’t feel the dates match.

The paintings were executed in the first half of the 20th Century, and are beautifully painted in an impressionist manner. The paintings are offered framed and glazed in Hogarth frames. The paintings are 23cm x 13cm and the frames are 31.5cm x 22cm.

The condition is very good.
