Neat little mid 19th.c. walnut sewing table c.1870. Can be used as a drinks or lamp table with a 17″ diameter circular top with moulded edge over a shaped apron and tapering octagonal form body. Opens to reveal a fitted interior with small compartments for threads and pins etc around a central well for embroidery. Raised on a tripod base with shaped and carved legs in solid walnut. Excellent condition with original paper and silk lining. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
