the inlaid top with lift up lid opening to interior fitted with various stationery compartments, pull out green tooled leather sliding writing surface and pen tray, wonderfully ornate carved scroll supports, beautifully inlaid bow front doors to each side, one enclosing four drawers with recessed knobs, the other with shelved cupboard space, carved scroll feet fitted with castors for ease of movement.
normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use but overall this charming davenport is in very good clean condition with a pleasing colour and patina.
