A beautiful Stratton " Mini-Convertible " powder compact in good condition. This compact is decorated with an eye-catching floral motif surrounded by a gilt border. The colour / color & form of the design with the black background have the appearance of an oriental accessory although this is of course British made. The lid opens to reveal an excellent mirror which gives a perfect reflection.The base is decorated with the 'Woven effect' & signed " ENGLAND ". All clasps and hinges work perfectly. This powder compact measures 3 " & weighs 72.2 grams. It is suitable for modern loose & solid / pressed face powders or as a handbag mirror.
