An attractive novelty compact mirror made to resemble a Swiss watch. The lid is gilded and features ornate engraving. The mirror gives an excellent, clear and accurate reflection. The power well is signed 'ELIZABETH ARDEN MADE IN SWITZERLAND LONDON NEW YORK PARIS'. This compact is suitable for loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. The compact features a removable lid in the base where the loose powder is placed. On turning the winder the powder will be pushed upwards to the inner powder plate. The compact is in good condition. Measures 7 cm and weighs 87 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
