Vintage compact Stratton WEDGWOOD sage green Jasperware powder compact bridesmaids gift

A beautiful vintage Stratton 'Queen Convertible' powder compact with an excellent sage green Wedgwood classically inspired cameo - most probably Eros (Cupid) as the winged deity is holding an arrow. The whole compact is in very good condition. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The compact is gleaming clean & comes with a silk & foam puff - ready to use. The mirror gives an excellent reflection as you will see on image three. The edge of the mirror is decorated with a frosted glass border. There is a subtle & slight age related haze on the mirror which in no way prevents it from giving a very good reflection. The base is decorated with vertical lines & signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'.

This vintage compact mirror measures 3 1/4" & weighs 117.5 grams.
