This compact mirror is suitable for use with modern pressed / solid face powder.
This is an unusual Stratton powder compact with stylized scroll work & the figure of a cat in smooth gold tone. Very eye-catching & what a delightful gift for the lady who loves cats!
All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is excellent & gives a perfect reflection. The base is decorated with the 'Woven Effect'. Vintage Stratton powder compacts can be dated from the designs on the base - this one is just over twenty years old & so it qualifies as 'vintage'. The compact is in good condition although the cat has a few minor surface scratches - as this is such a scarce compact it does not bother me in the least. An immaculate velvet drawstring pouch comes free with this order.
This Stratton compact measure 3" & weighs 71.1. grams.
