Antique Victorian 19C walnut trumpet work side sewing table box.

This is a lovely item, that is full of age, charm and character.

An attractive and rare piece.

Solid, with no loose joints or wobbles.

Great age and patina (not over restored).

Lovely original patina and colour, would look amazing in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions diameter of base 52cm, diameter of top 45cm, height 74cm.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Some veneer imperfections, as one would expect from walnut. No keys and the lock is untested. Some structural repairs (one foot replaced) but all is good now. The internal linings are old and worn. There is a little distortion in the lid, but it still opens and closes ok. There are some historical extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.
