Victorian Teapot & Sugar Bowl Butterfly Portrait
Description
For your consideration this mid to late Victorian rare bone china tea set including a teapot and sugar bowl. (I will include the cream jug but it does have a considerable chip to the rim.)
Decorated with a Victorian gentleman's monochrome photographic transfer portrait to each piece to the front of the item. Gilt lined and decorated to each piece. Beautiful butterfly handles with delicate sunflower finals.
Dimensions
Teapot Height 15/handle to spout 17 cm.
Condition
The china is in very good condition with not chips, cracks or restoration. The gilt has worn in places but all commensurate with age and use.
The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
