Victorian 9” Ironstone Butchers Scale Plate

A Victorian ironstone scale plate, decorated with a quality under-glaze bold black transfer of Justitia. This is a very pretty example indeed.
Used in the Victorian & Edwardian period grocers and butchers scales, they make excellent cheese boards or serving platters and kitchen decoration pieces.
Diameter 9” = 23cm. Thickness 1cm
In exceptional condition and completely free from imperfections.
