Victorian Stoneware Candlestick, Doulton Lambeth Victorian 1890s Stoneware %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Here we have an elegant late Victorian Stoneware Candlestick. It has a circular base decorated with blue flowers, a tapering stem with leaf and flower decoration and an urn shaped sconce with blue leaves around it.

The candlestick was made at the famous Doulton factory in Lambeth, London and dates to around the 1890s, or possibly a little earlier. It is signed P B on the underside of the base but as yet we have not been able to identify this artist.

Condition is extremely good, with no chips or cracks and just the most minimal superficial surface wear that you would anticipate with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The candlestick is 20.5cm / 8ins high and 10.3cm / 4ins in diameter across the base. It weighs 492g / 17.3oz.

The underside of the base has the stamp for Doulton, Lambeth, England and the inscribed P B artists' mark.

Shipping in the UK is £6 by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
Overseas customers, please ask us about shipping costs to your country before making a purchase.
