Victorian Regency mahogany bow front writing desk
Antique Victorian (or possibly a little earlier Regency or William IV) flame mahogany bow front writing desk or dressing table.
This is a lovely piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints.
The drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
An attractive piece.
Quite rare and would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 92cmW x 54cmD x 78.5cmH (63cm high knee hole in centre).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Some historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. Some of the skirts at the base of the handles have chips missing.
