This Victorian telescopic brass and cast iron music stand is an absolutely stunning example and one of the best I have seen. Late 19th century cast iron reading/music stand with a mahogany rest. The stand exemplifies the quality of Victorian craftsmanship, having a quadruped lions claw cast iron base to which is connected a decorative brass-sheathed pole. The book rest pivots 360∘ and the height is adjustable.
