A good quality antique Victorian mahogany writing table or desk with 2 drawers. In well-figured mahogany it stands on elegant turned legs with brass casters (replacements). It has a gallery back above two capacious drawers, each with 2 knob-handles. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. With wear and marks to the top commensurate with age.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour. Some marks, scuffs and wear to the top commensurate with age. Brass casters are good quality replacements. A small section of beading missing to one side (see photos).
