Circa 1860, early Victorian mahogany library table/writing table. The rectangular shaped top with rounded corners and a new burgundy leather writing surface, above two full length drawers on one side and dummy drawers on the other side. The drawers have cockbeadings and mahogany turned knob handles. Beneath the drawers is a beading which runs around the entire table, and all stands on 4 wonderful, bulbous turned, fluted and tapering legs finishing on brass cup castors. The table is clean, stylish, sturdy and functional.

Size 73cm high x 132cm wide x 86cm deep.
