Victorian mahogany glazed bookcase display cabinet
Antique large Victorian mahogany (or possibly red walnut, which looks like mahogany) glazed bookcase display cabinet.
This is a lovely quality bookcase, that is full of age, charm and character.
Glazed top section with bevel edged glass.
Solid, with no loose joints.
The mahogany lined drawers slide freely.
Large impressive and imposing proportions and styling.
No significant woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 122cmW x 49cmD x 230cmH (99cmH base plus 131cmH top) with 3 adjustable shelves (plus bottom) to the glazed section each 111cmW x 22.5cmD. A single fixed shelf (plus the bottom) to the lower cupboard part 114cmW x 39cmD.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is a key to fit the glazed doors only...the cupboard lock may need attention and has no key.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
