Victorian Leather Chesterfield
A handsome Victorian leather Chesterfield sofa of classic proportions, raised on ring-turned hardwood legs terminating in original brass castors.
The sofa is executed in the traditional manner with generously deep buttoned upholstery to the back and arms, complemented by decorative hand-applied brass studwork. The leather has matured to a wonderfully rich antique patina, displaying the character and depth of colour that only age can achieve.
Generously scrolled arms and a well-proportioned frame give the piece the timeless elegance associated with the finest Chesterfield designs, making it equally suitable for both period and contemporary interiors.
