Victorian Large Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers %%alt5%%
Antique Victorian Large Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a rounded edge to the top above a serpentine shaped frieze drawer and with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with mother of pearl key escutcheons and original turned knob handles with mother of pearl inserts. To each side is a carved corbal support and it stands on a deep plinth base on tall turned feet.

Measures 57" high x 22" deep x 55" wide

Antique Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
