superb Victorian inlaid burr walnut piano topped davenport desk, circa 1870. top section has a sliding writing compartment with original green tooled leather, with pen tray, lidded compartment and inkwell with adjustable writing surface. two drawers, one contains button for pop up top, when released contains an additional three drawers and fretted stationary compartment. the base has intricately carved and turned front supports, the side has an opening door to reveal four sycamore lined drawers with original brass handles. top, sides and front with foliate inlaid boxwood marquetry, overall excellent original condition. complete with two keys and working locks
