Victorian Flame Mahogany 5ft Half Tester Bed

This Victorian Mahogany Half Tester Bed is a lovely piece, it dates from around 1880 it has a shaped half canopy over the head end, this has a sunburst fabric panel inset, with large hanging teardrop turnings to the front supporting the side curtain rails

The foot board of the bed is made in solid Flame mahogany, it has a pleasantly curved shape to the top with turned bed posts at either side

The Bed has been fully restored, the old wooden structure of the bed has been replaced with new, there are no drapes and hangings so this one is an open canvas for the designer (I have added a picture of a similar bed fully dressed)
The bed dismantles for transportation will need reassembling on arrival, it has a solid wooden slatted base and requires a mattress 60” wide and 78” long
The bed is 64” wide, 87” high and 84”long
