Antique Victorian C1890 carved walnut writing desk or dressing table. Slim, elegant design.

Fabulous proportions, light colour, age and patina. No woodworm. Period brass ormolu castors (some wear as one would expect).

The table is solid and strong, with no loose joints and the drawers slide freely. Stamped with maker 'James Ansell, Cambridge'

Overall dimensions 92cmW x 51cmD x 76cmH (62cmH knee hole).

There are historic knocks, marks, repairs, imperfections, cracks and alterations as is typical and normal with antique furniture. No keys and the locks are untested.
