Rare late Victorian campaign Chaise Longue, circa 1880, probably stained beech, with turned legs and spindles,upholstered in original carpet material, with a lift off cylindrical detachable cushion rest, with brass studs to tops of rear, the lifts open to form a double bed with an original bead head, the interior reupholstered.
Campaign antique furniture has been around for centuries, from elaborate carved folding chairs to watch the he battles to charming suites in the 18th and 19th centuries.
