Victorian Burr Walnut Folio / Music Cabinet
Circa 1860, exhibition quality Victorian burr walnut folio or music cabinet. The string inlaid top has a gilt, brass pierced gallery and outset corners at the front. Beneath is a central glazed door with a polished brass beading and flanked by 2 carved baluster columns with brass mounts and inlay. Inside are various shelves with leather facings and inscriptions. With moulded edge with further inlay beneath, beading and turned feet.
