DESCRIPTION:
This is a super 16 drawer oak haberdashery display shop counter dating from c1930. The counter stands on tapered legs and has oxidised copper pull handles to the drawers which are a fantastic contrast to the honey oak of the counter. The counter also has two rules 1 original yard rule and a later addition of a metric rule nice to see they didn’t remove the original and nice to see that bit of history still attached to it. The counter has had a new 6.4mm laminated safety glass top replacement fitted has the other had fogged badly due to use. This counter would suit and sit proudly in many settings both commercially and residential often used now in kitchens in replacement of the now dated islands. Often sold for use in studios and craft rooms as well as tradition setting in retail shops etc.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
The Counter has had a new 6.4mm thick laminated safety glass top fitted.
There is a very small crack to the front glass bottom left side at the from measuring approx. 10mm can’t see it unless you purposely look for it.
