Early 19th century verge wall clock by Samuel Hardy from London.
Mahogany one piece "saltbox" case with shaped surround and cast brass decoration. With latched bottom and side doors.
Silvered and engraved brass dial and blued steel counterbalanced hands are protected by a locking concave cast brass bezel.
Rectangular plate line fusee verge movement is separated by knopped pillars.
Samuel Hardy was a member of the clockmakers company, 1778-1805, he worked at Somerset street, Aldgate.
