Circa 1890, very unusual patent action rosewood duet piano stool. The left hand and right hand side are independent. The stool is upholstered on the top, has a deep apron all round which is ribbed and stands on 4 heavily turned legs with bulbous and turned stretchers. At the end is a large turned knob which adjusts each end independently. The piece has a design number on 3 locations on the base. This piano stool is of concert quality.
