A very unusual and good quality mahogany desk with open bookcase from the renown workshops of Druce & Co. of Baker Street, Portman Square, London. The rectangular shaped top having a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The front has reeded stiles and 9 mahogany lined and graduated drawers with applied mouldings, original brass handles and escutcheons all with working locks and keys. The unusual back to the desk having 7 mahogany open bookshelves with tooled green leather dust covers. The whole raised on 8 short turned legs and good quality brass casters. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
