A lustrous blue enamel refillable Stratton '10-Sided Convertible' powder compact in superb condition. This compact is suitable for all loose face powder and also standard size powder pans, for example: Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte, CCUK and Miss Beauty compressed powder. The whole piece is in superb condition, as are the original accessories - presentation box, pouch, silk topped puff and sifter. There isn't any loss of design or enamel. All the brass was lacquered during the manufacturing process and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The excellent mirror is surrounded by an octagonal bezel which is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND PAT. 764125'. The powder well is coated with white enamel. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.' Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 91.6 grams.
