Unused 1950s Vanity Set Compact And Lipstick
A splendid unused 1950s vanity set comprising of a lovely enamel powder compact and matching lipstick holder. All the original accessories are present - even the original cardboard outer box. The case is so elegant - a superbly crafted clamshell!
The enamel is absolutely stunning - no loses or fading. The compact has a gilt diamond cut floral motif with a stylish border. The original luxurious puff, sifter and pouch all pristine and adorable. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The mirror bezel is signed REGENT OF LONDON MADE IN ENGLAND. The base has an engine turned design of diamond shapes.
The compact is suitable for all loose face powder and standard sizes (67 mm diameter) pressed face powder pans.
The compact measures 7.3 cm diameter and weighs 64.9 grams.
The lipstick holder measures 5.5 cm and weighs 10.3 grams.
