Troika drum, St. Ives, Marilyn Pascoe

The drum was a popular shape in the mid to late 1960s. It was dropped when Troika moved to Newlyn in 1970 because of the time and skill needed to decorate it. Despite this, it was reintroduced in the late 1970s.
This example is from the St. Ives days.
It was decorated by Marilyn Pasco who worked at Troika between 1968 and 1973. This dates this piece to between 1968 and 1970.
The drum measures approximately 17 cm (6.75") in diameter by 9 cm (3.5") high.
Overall condition is very good. There are no cracks and no restoration.
There are two small blemishes to the rim. One appears to have been during manufacturing as it has been glazed over. The other is a small 1mm nick to the glaze.
There is crazing to the interior white glaze.
Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
Selling price includes free UK postage. For other countries, please contact us for a quote.
