A Susie Cooper, handpainted under and over glaze, art deco preserve pot and lid in good great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It does have crazing all over the honeyglaze with darker crage lines to the interior. A couple of tiny paint flecks to the centre of the yellow flower on the lid. The lines are not cracks and do not show on the exterior. No overpainting or restoration guaranteed. This pattern number is 7956 and dates to 1928. I have had several pieces of this pattern and the orange and yellow flowers are painted over glaze and the browns and purple under glaze, then re-fired. Please look closely at the photos as they form part of the description.
