A superb Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid open bookcase. The book matched top above a cushion moulded frieze with marquetry inlaid flowers and gilded beading. The stiles having very good cast gilded mounts with a marquetry inlaid castle and mountains set within further floral inlay. The interior with 2 walnut faced shelves and the whole raised on a shaped plinth with cross grain mouldings and decorative gilded mount. Condition- Very good. Dimensions:- Height…43’’/ 109cm.Width…33.25’’/ 84.5cm. Depth…12.5’’/ 32cm. Interior Shelf Depth…9’’/ 23cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55. ALL TRADE ENQUIRIES WELCOME.
