Superb Full Size French Boulle Clock
A suberb, large French boulle antique clock. Tortoishell and brass inlays to the case front and sides. Ormolu rococo case mounts and surmounted by a trumpeting angel. An opening glass front door to the gilt dial with individual enamel numeral cartouches. A Louis XIV sunburst pendulum to the fully detailed case interior with flooring and back door panel. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1875.
