Stunning Antique Solid Silver Clock Chester 1891


An exquisite Quality late-19th century Dutch small solid silver antique clock, with both Dutch silver marks and English Chester hallmarks for 1891. Silvermakers importer's mark of B. Joseph and Co.
Back is engraved Malletts of Bath. Mallett & Son were highly acclaimed antique clock and watch makers in the late 19th century.
The beautiful circular dial is mounted with a delicately ornate cherub within a pierced decoration, and two love birds on each side. The clock stands on a raised rectangular stand which is superbly engraved and sits on four bun feet. Measures in height approx. 13cm. Clock face measures approx 6cm diameter.
The silverwork and body is in excellent pristine condition with no damage dents or repairs. Comes with its own key. In full working order. A stunning example of excellent quality.
