Striking and Repeating French Carriage Clock
A quality striking and repeating French brass carriage antique clock of larger proportions. A circular enamel dial with roman numerals and outer 5 minute markers, surrounded by a silvered dial masking. A brass case with a well shaped handle and side columns, standing on a stepped base. An 8-day duration striking and repeating mechanism on a gong numbered 790. The original lever escapement. Original leather bound travelling box. Circa 1880.
