A French brass cased striking and repeating carriage antique clock. An enamel dial signed by retailers 'Rowell & Harris, Oxford' with 'moon' blued steel hands and 5 minute outer markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. Case numbered 597. A lever escapement. Complete with original leather bound travelling box. Circa 1890.
