Stratton Loose Foundation Compact Mirror 1940s
A really pretty Stratton compact with a gorgeous engine turned design with a blanc central cartouche. The original accessories are also present - box, grey felt pouch, fabric puff and sifter. The maker lacquered this accessory and so it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. It will retain its pleasing appearance without any maintenance. The mirror bezel is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The powder well is beautifully gilded. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 64.5 grams.
This compact is ideal for use with loose foundation, as a compact mirror or collectible.
