Stunning collection of sponge ware plates and platters and tureen dish circa 1900. All in excellent condition except for some pitting as to production process . Provenance is hard to tell but we believe They are English due to marking "Leadless Glaze" ,in blue, written on the base of each item. This could possibly have been samples for the initial sponge ware design of this pattern.The same pattern has also been known to be used in Belgium but has been marked with Belgian marks.

Measurements as follows:

Large Oval platter/carver L 37cm W 29cm

Medium Oval platter. L33cm W 26.3cm

Small Oval plate. L 26cm W 20 cm

12 x Dinner plates. Diameter 26.5 cm

4 x smaller plates Diameter 24 cm

1 x Tureen dish. L 20cm W 14cm D 13.9cm

1 x Tureen dish plate stand. L 23.5cm. W17cm

Please note that there is small pitting on inside of the turee n dish and some plates but all due to natural production process.

Normally One can find the odd plate of this pattern but to find a collection of this size is a real result for any collector.
