Solid Oak Arts & Crafts Student's Bureau
This lovely vintage student's bureau looks to date from the first half of the twentieth century. It is constructed from solid oak and is very much in the arts and crafts stye with art nouveau style faux show hinges. The bureau has a fall front writing section with an arrangement of pigeon holes behind and two shelves below.
Condition: Overall this attractive piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some restoration work. The fall front has a replacement lock, which isn't correctly position and only just catches - this would benefit from replacement. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and is overall a little grubby with some marks. There are a few nicks, scratches and minor areas of wood loss.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 127cm high, 71.5cm wide, 23.5cm deep (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
