Pristine white enameled dial with black roman numerals and minute ring with blued steel moon hands. Platform engraved JS on its upper-side and Soldano on underside. Soldano was awarded medals for his carriage antique clocks at both the 1855 and 1878 Paris Exhibitions where the quality of his escapements was particularly singled out for praise. Soldano supplied Dent's amongst other renown makers and retailers.
