A small, (only 6 foot high)Edwardian oak Westminster Chime longcase clock dating to 1904. The 18th Century style English made case has a flat top hood, canted corners and a glazed door and bun feet. It has a 10" square brass dial with high quality engraving and a silvered chapter ring. It has an 8 day weight driven Westminster chime movement that sounds the 1/4's and the hours (it has a lever to turn the chimes and hours off). The movement was made by by Lenzkirch of Germany and is numbered 1,407720 dating its manufacture to 1904. The chimes of this antique clock are very sonorous and must be heard to be appreciated. Current Condition
The case is in good original condition, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

43.00cm wide 183.00cm high 28.00cm deep (16.93 inches wide 72.05 inches high 11.02 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
