Small Georgian style mahogany chest on chest c.1930. Just over 31″ wide and 68″ tall. In two sections with two short drawers over six drawers of graduated depth plus brushing slide. Moulded cornice with Greek key detail and a Chippendale style blind fretwork frieze continued on the sides and repeated down the canted corners of the top section. Matching flame mahogany veneers arranged in symmetrical pattern across drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and cast brass swan neck handles. Raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides, oak drawer linings and Georgian pattern locks. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
