French Cherry Wood Commode Chest Of Drawers
Substantial 19th century French cherry wood commode chest of drawers, circa 1850 and in good condition.
Really super book matched veneers to the front giving you these wonderful repeating grain patterns and panelled sides.
Consisting of four full width drawers (all running smoothly), the top drawer being the “frieze” drawer. Flanked by the fully turned columns and stands on block feet.
Measuring:
32 inches or 81.5 cm high
51 inches or 129.5 cm wide
23 1/4 inches or 59 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
