Antique Longcase Clock, This small antique 19th century longcase grandfather antique clock has a lovely arch dial painted with scene of waterside mansion, The dial inscribed J Hall Alford (Lincolnshire) the eight day striking movement being cleaned and serviced, The hood having a swan neck pediment and the case being made of mainly oak and mahogany with line inlaid decoration,
Joseph Hall Alford is in the list of Watch and Clock Makers book Circa 1835 to 1850
