Sweet little Regency era bow front mahogany chest of drawers c.1820. Useful small size, just 30" wide. Mahogany veneered 'caddy' top (flush to the sides and front with no applied mouldings to the edges) with crossbanded edge and inlaid ebony stringing to the front. Over two short drawers and two long drawers of graduated height. Very nicely figured matched veneers to the drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and large period brass handles. Shaped apron and legs to the front and sides. Mahogany veneered sides with ebony inlay. Oak drawer linings. Some wear and repairs, most obvious around the legs. Generally good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
