Very pretty Queen Anne style display cabinet on stand by the acclaimed British cabinet makers Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple c.1905. Arch top display with a single glazed door and two serpentine front shelves on a fine stand with a single drawer, curving apron and turned legs joined with a shaped stretcher shelf. Fine parquetry work inlaid stringing in contrasting timbers and original heavy brass drop handles. Interior lined in shot silk with an embroidered pattern, the sides painted pale grey. Solid mahogany drawer linings. Stamped S&P B on the drawer lock with a registered design number stamped on the rear. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
