Seventeenth Century Welsh drop leaf dining table

I have a number of very good Welsh seventeenth century / early eighteenth century chairs from the same period listed this week. Do check out my other listings.
This is such a sweet period drop leaf table. It is Welsh and is late seventeenth century dating to around 1690 - 1710. The table is made in oak. The table has a drawer one end. The shaped apron beneath the drawer is a typical Welsh motif from the time. The table has two leaves that are supported on swinging gate legs. The legs all have gun barrel turnings and blocks and are all original. The joints are all dowelled. This is a very original table. The patina of age is wonderful and my poor photos do not do it justice.
The table is small. It will seat four and is wonderful for intimate dinners. The table is in good condition with little sign of damage or repair. Marks and minor warping as you would expect in a period table like this.
This Welsh table is a little gem.
The table is 28 inches high and 44 inches deep and 18 inches wide with no leaves up and 53 inches wide with two leaves up.
