A Good Set of 6 Victorian Gothic Jacobean Style Oak Dining Chairs

This is a superb well carved set of High Back Dining Chairs, the carvings are of leaves and twisted vines, the chairs have a good patina and the quality of the carving is first-class.

The chairs have good sturdy oak frames with barley twist turned, columns, legs and stretchers, the seats are in Beregere or Flat Cane, 2 of the seats have been re caned some time ago so the pattern of the caning is slightly different, and the seats have a carved border.
The chairs are in very sound with no loose joints, they are in very good condition for their age, as are the caned seats
The chairs are 43” high at the back, 18” across the front and seats are 18” high.
